WHY I'M RUNNING
Kumar Sharma has called Calgary home for well over 25 years and has been a resident of Ward 3 since
2009.
He is recognized as a pioneer in establishing social and cultural events within the City, leading the way for diversity, inclusion and representation of all cultures.
In addition to being a husband and father, he is also a small Business owner in Ward 3 which allows him
to understand the unique difficulties faced by local businesses, especially during the COVID-19
Pandemic.
Kumar’s leadership and invested interest in the representation of Ward 3 is well-supported by his political experience and involvement at a grass roots level.
His pledge of commitment to Ward 3 is to serve the residents through positive and impactful change that
will directly contribute to a greater quality of life for all of us.
